REXTULE:
RETEXTULE is a 4-parallel looper type effector that can change the playback speed. Interesting textures can be created with parallel loopers with variable playback speed. You can reinforce pad sounds by layering reverse sounds, octaves up, or slightly pitch-shifted sounds. Since the playback speed can be finely set with a decimal point, you can create a mysterious sound that creates a series of non-integer overtones.
By setting a staggered time, you can create complex rhythms by playing sounds at unpredictable timings. For example:
• You can create a series of mysterious sounds by adding a sound with a short attack like hitting glass or an FM synth sound with a short attack.
• Also, when used in series, it is possible to create a mysterious sound like the sound of water from a short tapping sound.
Use it on field-recorded sound for interesting sounds, or add to ambient or drones to create unexpected textures.
Each parallel looper is a windowed multi(1~12)-tap delay. Each is evenly arranged with a phase shift. You can change the playback speed to create effects like reverse delays and intermediate granular effects.
Parameters:
→ D/W : dry wet
→ Speed_1~4: playback speed
→ Time_1~4: delay loop length
→ Gain : each looper gain
→ Reverb: reverb strength
→ Grain: each number of grain
There are 4 loopers in parallel. Each looper is a mini-granular with 1~12 grains. It can also be regarded as granules of 4×4=16 grains. Since the loop interval is long, it may be closer to consider it as a multi-tap delay. Speed changes the playback speed of each looper. Time determines the playback range of each looper. The looper records and plays back in streaming.
For example, if it is 1 second, it will play from 0 to 1 second ago.
